Everything you need to know before your first class.
I'm completely new to Pilates. Where should I start?
We recommend our Beginner Foundations package — one Principles private session plus four Essential group classes for $190. Or try our New Client Intro: three private sessions for $275. Both give you personal attention before jumping into group classes.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that lets you move freely and won't get caught in the equipment. Socks with grips are recommended for hygiene and safety. We sell grip socks at the studio if you need a pair.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
Nope. We provide all mats, props, and reformer equipment. Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and a willingness to try something new.
How much do classes cost?
Single group classes are $45. Packages save you money: 4-pack $180, 8-pack $312, 12-pack $440. Memberships start at $154/month for 4 classes. Private sessions start at $115. See our full pricing on the Services page.
What's the difference between mat and reformer Pilates?
Mat Pilates uses your body weight and small props for resistance. Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine that adds adjustable resistance and support. Both build strength and flexibility — many clients enjoy a mix of both.
Can I do Pilates if I have an injury?
Absolutely. Many of our clients come to us for injury recovery and prevention. Private sessions are ideal if you're working with a specific issue — our instructors will tailor the work to your needs and communicate with your physical therapist if you'd like.
How do I book a class?
You can book through our website contact form, call us at (201) 421-0139, or message us on Instagram @csfitpilates. We'll get you scheduled within one business day.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 12 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for the session. We understand life happens — just give us a call if something comes up.
